Information on the company

Finding suitable sales prospects is hard, really hard. Too often, sales teams lose valuable time chasing and disqualifying leads that were never relevant in the first place. This leads to frustrated sales teams, wasted effort,  unnecessary cost and businesses growing more slowly.

A more effective approach is to identify potential customers systematically, using clear qualification criteria from the outset. By building a tailored dataset aligned to a company’s specific requirements, only relevant accounts are surfaced and enriched with meaningful, decision-ready information. With a clearly mapped market, teams can better prioritise outreach, allocate leads intelligently, and tailor messaging to what prospects actually care about. Leading to high performing motivated teams and growing businesses.

Our client  is GTM passionate, data led and a team of exceptionally high performers. Being led by serial successful B2B SAAS entrepreneurs and having recently raised their Series A they are ready to supercharge their growth

ABOUT THE ROLE…

You will…

  • help build the operational foundations of a fast-growing tech startup and enable the next phase of growth as the team is set to triple in the next 12 months.

  • be hands-on, high-impact, across People, Finance, Legal and special projects, combining day-to-day execution with building scalable systems and processes.

  • Senior individual contributor with broad scope and high visibility, partnering closely with the Head of Operations and leadership to scale the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People Operations & Employee Experience

  • Execute core people operations (onboarding/offboarding, payroll, HRIS, contracts) and partner with the Head of Ops to shape and scale processes as the company grows

  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent employee experience by identifying gaps and improving workflows

  • Lead the delivery of key culture initiatives, including benefits, quarterly offsites, and team engagement, ensuring values are embedded day to day

Finance Operations

  • Execute and continuously improve AP/AR and core finance workflows, partnering with the Head of Ops on scalable processes

  • Support budget creation and tracking and manage day-to-day relationships with external accountants

Legal & Compliance

  • Support commercial teams by executing and improving legal processes (NDAs, T&Cs, contract coordination)

  • Partner cross-functionally on data protection, SOC 2, and ESG initiatives to ensure operational readiness

Company Operations

  • Act as a generalist operator, taking ownership of high-impact operational projects across the business

  • Be the point of contact for the office and ensure smooth day-to-day operations (the team is in a managed office, so this is light touch- watering plants, stocking snacks)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Foundational people and finance systems are designed, implemented and that can support a team 3× larger than today

  • The team and wider organisation are operationally enabled for the next phase of growth, with scalable processes, clear ownership, and minimal friction as headcount increases over the next 12 months

  • A trusted, autonomous operator who reliably drives execution end-to-end, spots issues early, and takes ownership of outcomes while partnering closely with the Head of Operations

  • Leaders and teams are unblocked and focused on their goals, confident that core operational workstreams are handled with rigour, judgement, and care

The ideal candidate…

  • 2–5 years of experience in a hands-on role within operations, people operations, business operations, finance administration, legal operations (e.g. paralegal), or a similar function

  • AI first thinker

  • Experience may come from a specialist or generalist background; what matters most is strong execution and the ability to apply skills across new operational areas

  • Startup or fast-growing company experience is essential; experience in a tech startup is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated comfort working in environments with limited structure, where you’ve helped build, improve, or scale processes rather than simply follow them

  • Experience working closely with founders, senior leaders, or a Head of Operations, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration and operational problem-solving

Why work here?

  • Previously successful B2B founders, scaled their first business to £100M ARR

  • Head of Operations is Ex Bumble, and has worked at 3 other high growth startups

  • Working in a fast paced high calibre B2B SaaS business

  • Collaborative, high performing, motivated, product-led environment

  • Quarterly offsites and annual party

  • Private healthcare, gym membership, team events

Interview process

  • Introductory video call with the hiring team: mutual intros and overview of the role, experience, motivation, and role alignment (1 hour)

  • Take-home task review interview: presentation and discussion of the approach  (1 hour)

  • Team meet-and-greet: Office -  informal conversation with future team-mates (30 mins)
