Our client is an agency offering strategic communications for global innovative technology brands across multiple platforms as well as content; social media and digital marketing support. Entrepreneurial, and female-founded they’ve grown to a revenue of close to  £1.5M this year working with fast-paced disruptive technology companies in climate, quantum, digital twins, cyber security and media entertainment.

You’ll be joining at a time of expansion and have a chance to contribute and be rewarded for the commercial impact you have on the business. Rather than just being another team member, you’ll form part of their growing team.

Day-to-day activities will include…

  • Supporting the CEO with the strategic direction of clients, the team and day-to-day running of the business

  • Developing new creative campaigns to attract new business and drive organic growth with existing clients

  • Growing and managing your own defined area of the business

  • Leading client relationships and strategy

  • Pitching to clients for new business

  • Managing and developing your team

The ideal candidate…

  • Ambitious to achieve the next level of leadership within the business

  • 10 + years' experience within the B2B comms space in an agency environment working with global brands and startups

  • A strong, proven track record in B2B integrated technology communications and PR

  • Excellent and proven team leadership ability with a true desire to motivate and nurture a team

  • Clear understanding of financial & budget management, resourcing teams effectively and ensuring campaigns are both fresh and unique in answering clients’ objectives

  • Strong background in media relations & a solid network of influencer contacts spanning media, social media and wider stakeholders (e.g. analysts, think tanks, academics, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of the tech media landscape including trade press and key journalists with proven ability to secure a range of coverage from, for example, national / business to tech and vertical trade media 

  • Strategic and innovative thinking, both for clients and the consultancy

  • Superb client relationship skills, adept at delivering strategic client counsel with a flair for being considered a trusted advisor

  • Proven track record of winning new business, writing and leading pitches including the development of

    strategy, working with (extended) teams to develop ideas, and leading the document writing and

    presentation.

  • Talent for translating complex subjects – in both written and verbal form – to capture the attention of audiences, your clients, and colleagues.

  • Self-starter, organised with strong project management skills

  • Great writing skills with close attention to detail
