Build one of the UK's fastest-growing personal brands

We're looking for an exceptional Brand Designer to help build and evolve the visual identity of an entrepreneur with a social audience of more than half a million people and ambitious plans to grow that into the millions. You'll help define how the brand looks, feels and communicates, creating a distinctive visual identity that works across social media, YouTube, websites, books, software products, education, events and new businesses.

You'll join a small, ambitious creative team where ideas move quickly and you'll have genuine influence over the brand from day one.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER…

Our client is a proven entrepreneur. He built a software company from scratch, scaling it to more than £50 million in revenue before selling the business in 2024 for an eight-figure sum.

Over the last year, he's applied the same principles to his personal brand, growing an audience of more than 500,000 followers organically through practical, experience-led content around entrepreneurship, business and wealth creation. He is on a mission to help creators run their own successful businesses.

As well as this, he is also building a creator SaaS platform, creator accelerator and co-working community, a book, and online courses. The challenge now is to create a recognisable, distinctive brand identity that Will become globally recognised

The opportunity

You'll work closely with the Creative Director, founder and wider media team to develop, own and evolve the visual brand. Rather than inheriting a finished brand book and simply following it, you'll help create the system. You'll be responsible for translating ideas into a visual identity that is recognisable, consistent and capable of working across multiple channels, products and businesses.

Your work will include:

  • Developing and evolving the overall visual identity

  • Creating brand guidelines, design systems and visual principles

  • Defining typography, colour, layout, imagery and graphic styles

  • Creating distinctive visual concepts for new launches and campaigns

  • Building scalable templates and systems for the wider creative team

  • Designing for Instagram and LinkedIn

  • Developing the visual identity of YouTube and podcast content

  • Designing landing pages and digital experiences

  • Creating brand identities and assets for new products and ventures

  • Designing books, reports, course materials and educational products

  • Creating event and physical brand assets

  • Maintaining consistency while continually pushing the brand forward

You'll also experiment with AI and emerging creative tools to prototype concepts quickly, explore new visual directions and increase the speed at which ideas can move from concept to launch.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with exceptional creative taste and strong brand thinking. You're not simply good at making individual assets look attractive. You can take an idea, personality or business and turn it into a coherent visual world. You understand how typography, colour, imagery, layout and design systems combine to create a recognisable brand.

You'll probably have experience:

  • Developing or evolving brand identities

  • Creating visual identities and brand systems

  • Turning brand strategy into compelling creative

  • Designing across digital, social and physical formats

  • Creating brand guidelines and scalable templates

  • Working with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Designing content for Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital platforms

  • Producing high-quality creative at speed

  • Using or experimenting with AI-powered creative tools

Your portfolio matters more to us than your job titles. We want to see evidence that you can think conceptually as well as execute beautifully. We'd particularly love to see projects where you've helped take a brand from an early idea through to a recognisable visual identity.

BONUS POINTS

  • Passion for the creator economy, creators, and personal branding

  • Experience in startups, media or technology

  • Understanding of YouTube design and thumbnails

  • Experience designing digital products

  • Can shoot or art-direct photography and video

  • Understand motion design

  • Have launched or rebranded something from scratch

  • Enjoy experimenting with new creative technology

Creatively ambitious

  • Full of ideas

  • Highly organised

  • Proactive

  • Curious

  • Comfortable challenging ideas

  • Happy working at pace

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Excited by building rather than maintaining

You'll need to be someone who can both think and make. There won't always be a detailed brief waiting for you. Sometimes you'll be given an idea and expected to work out what it should look like.

WHY JOIN?

  • Build the brand You will own the design of a brand that is going to define one of the UK's leading entrepreneurs. Not support it. Own it. The look, the feel and the visual language all sit with you, and they sit with you now, while it is still being shaped. This is a rare seat. You are close to the founder, central to how the brand becomes known, and trusted with a level of creative ownership most designers wait years to earn.

  • Create work seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
The existing audience is already more than 500,000, with ambitions to reach millions.

  • Work across far more than social media.
You'll design across media, technology, education, publishing, events and new ventures rather than being confined to one channel.

  • Work directly with decision-makers.
This is a small team. Good ideas can move from conversation to live creative extremely quickly.

  • Learn how modern entrepreneurial brands are built.
You'll work alongside experienced creatives while seeing first-hand how
