Our client is a serial entrepreneur who built a software company from the ground up: starting from nothing and scaling it to over £50 million in total revenue, becoming the most recognised figure in their industry. For a decade, they ran the business end-to-end: creating content, investing millions in paid advertising, and building a community of tens of thousands of paying subscribers. The company was sold for an eight-figure sum in 2024.

In 2025, they turned their focus to their own personal brand, applying that same decade of content expertise to build over half a million followers across all channels in just over a year. The content they share is practical and grounded: real strategies on building wealth through social media and entrepreneurship, drawn from genuine experience rather than theory or motivation.

Now they're building what comes next. At the centre of it is a SaaS platform designed for creators to sell products and subscriptions on repeat. Think Shopify meets Kajabi, built for the creator economy. Alongside that, a co-working and creator accelerator community, and an expanding content operation with plans for YouTube, a podcast, and much more.

This is a media and technology group at its very earliest stages - a highly engaged audience, a proven brand, and a long road ahead. They're looking for people who want to be here at the start: to help scale from half a million followers to many millions, build profitable companies, and help a great many people genuinely change their lives.

ABOUT THE ROLE…

We are looking for an exceptional writer, someone who can disappear into our client’s voice so completely that readers never notice the seam. Not a generalist. Not someone who's "pretty good with words." A specialist who has done this before, at a high level, and has the results to prove it.

You will be the person behind the words: crafting captions that stop the scroll, scripts that hold attention for 20 minutes, frameworks that make complex business ideas feel obvious, and quotes that people screenshot and share. You'll be working directly with the founder, which means fast feedback, high standards, and real creative ownership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Voice & Storytelling

  • Write in the founder's voice so authentically it's indistinguishable from their own - this is the single most important skill for this role

  • Craft stories that serve a business purpose: to teach, to sell, to build trust, and to move people

  • Develop signature frameworks that make complex business and wealth concepts memorable and easy to understand

  • Capture and build out a living library of signature quotes, phrases, and ideas that define the brand

Social Copy & Captions

  • Write platform-native captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Threads

  • Master the hook: understand what makes someone stop, read on, and take action

  • Adapt tone, format, length, and structure for each platform while keeping the brand voice consistent

  • Write copy that genuinely moves people, not just informs them

Scripts & Long-Form Content

  • Write long-form YouTube scripts that explain business concepts in a way that educates and entertains

  • Develop written frameworks for recurring content formats and series

  • Support the creation of podcast content, newsletters, and other long-form assets as the operation grows

Frameworks & Brand Standards

  • Create and maintain brand voice documentation so the standard is replicable across the team

  • Build recurring content frameworks that can be scaled without losing quality or authenticity

  • Identify when output drifts off-brand and correct it

AI Integration

  • Use AI tools to accelerate drafts, explore variations, and stress-test hooks — without letting AI replace the craft

  • Build prompt libraries and writing systems that increase speed without sacrificing quality or voice

The ideal candidate…

  • Demonstrable experience writing for a major personal brand, this is non-negotiable. Please include examples.

  • A portfolio that shows range: captions, scripts, long-form, hooks, frameworks

  • A genuine understanding of storytelling, not just what it is, but why it works in business and in sales

  • Deep knowledge of what performs on each platform and why

  • Someone who obsesses over the right word, not just a good-enough one

  • Comfortable working at pace, with multiple projects running simultaneously

  • Strong communicator who can take direction, give clear creative feedback, and work closely with a founder

  • Based in the UK with the ability to commute to London or Nottingham regularly

Interview process

  • Stage 1  Zoom interview (30–60 mins)
    Portfolio reviewed early. Conversational format; time is flexible if deep discussion is useful.

  • Stage 2  Short task (1 -2 hour)
    Respectful, lightweight, and skills-based. May be delivered via short doc or Loom-style explanation.

  • Stage 3  In-person meeting (lunch, ~1–1.5 hours)
    Deeper alignment on creative thinking, collaboration style, and ways of working.
