WHAT YOU’LL DO

We’re looking for a mid- to senior-level operations professional to be the operational backbone the programme. This is a hands-on, high-trust role spanning people, systems, finance, and executive operations focused on keeping the organisation running smoothly and at pace. You’ll own core platforms and internal operations, working closely with the CEO and COO to bring greater structure and consistency as they grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

People, Team & Office Operations

  • Own the day-to-day running of the HQ - managing the coworking environment, room bookings, team supplies, and the small details that keep the office working

  • Run HR operations end-to-end: onboarding and offboarding workflows, employee records, benefits admin, and recruitment coordination using our HR systems.

  • Plan and coordinate internal events, off-sites, cross-functional initiatives and internal projects from logistics to comms.

  • Provide organisation-wide admin and operational support, including travel

Systems, Platform & Tools

  • Own and maintain the core platforms - CRM, project management tools, shared drives, and internal documentation.

  • Manage team inboxes, communication systems, and internal workflows, spotting opportunities to automate or streamline wherever possible.

  • Act as the internal point of contact for software and systems 

Executive Operations

  • Manage CEO and COO workflows across calendars, async communications

  • Prepare and coordinate meeting materials, briefings, and follow-up actions to keep leadership aligned and moving

  • Support board, investor, and senior stakeholder interactions 

  • Administer the angel syndicate end-to-end - investor onboarding, KYC, deal documentation, commitment tracking, and platform liaison

Finance and Business Administration

  • Coordinate day-to-day financial administration: processing invoices and expenses, maintaining accurate records, and supporting timely payments

  • Act as primary liaison with our external accountants and support budget monitoring, financial controls, and audit preparation

  • Handle legal documentation, insurance renewals, and compliance admin, support grant paperwork, budgeting, and reporting requirements

The ideal candidate…

Experience in:

  • Owning operations, business support, or similar roles within a startup, scaleup, or fast-paced environment owning or managing internal operations across areas such as people/HR processes, office management, systems, or finance administration

  • Supporting senior leadership (e.g. CEO/COO), including managing priorities, workflows, and high-stakes coordination

  • In tools,  you pick up new platforms quickly, think in systems, and use technology to work smarter rather than harder, i.e. Asana, Notion, CRM (Freshsales)

  • An operator, not just an administrator, you spot what’s broken, fix it, and build something better

  • Highly organised and discreet, you’ll handle sensitive financial and leadership information as a matter of course

  • Excelling in a fast-moving, lean team

  • BONUS POINTS for exposure to investment, venture, or financial operations is a strong plus
